Paka preparations are not effective after one month.
Efficacy of oils is usually six months, but when stored it bottles it can be used for 1 year.
Ghee based preparations are more effective than taila if they are old.
Preparation which are prepared a less temperature their efficacy usually not more than one year.
Asava, Arista, Kupipakva rasayana and dhatu bhasma are more durables.
The drugs which contain lavana, hingu and parade containing are not effective more than six months.
